My Keto Snack List is So Simple yet Delicious

I’m starting to work out a lot more on the Keto Diet and this is leading to an increase in food craving. I’m finding that I need to be really careful because I’ve started to wander the aisles in the middle of the night at the nearby supermarket thinking about what foods I can possibly have. So far I’m not committing any high treason against my Ketogenic Adapted body but damn it comes close. If it wasn’t for these great choices I think I would have caved easily.

Keto Snack List Dos

  • Macadamia Nuts (saved me so many times and they just remind me of fond memories in Hawaii)
  • Real Cheese (None of that fake American Cheese)
  • Almonds
  • Peanut Butter (Featured image is home made peanut butter in a proceesor)
  • Smart Water (for electrolytes)
  • Hummus
  • Black Coffee with Butter
  • or just plain black coffee
  •  Avocado Shakes
  • or just plain Avocado
  • Walnuts
  • Hempseeds (Just discovered this at Safeway)
  • Epic All Natural Beef Bars . I’ve tried the Bacon and wasn’t a fan but this is a great snack source that just needed to make this list

Keto Snack List Don’ts

  • Don’t overeat on any of these because it’s really easy to do so
  • Be wary of anything packaged coming with sugar
  • Look for awesome food that are close to the right proportions of Fat/Proteins/Carbs for your Ketogenic Diet

Although, I can probably have the bun with my In-n-Out burger it’s hard to break the habits that the Ketogenic Lifestyle has taught me. I’ve continued to lose weight, go to the gym, eat relatively healthy, and I still consume a good amount of fat in my diet (which seems to be healthy as well). I’m having a Dark Cocounut Mocha at Chromatic Coffee as I’m writing this and I find that the sweetness is overpowering and regretting my decision. I was a little apprehensive about stopping for so long because of what many people say about eating carbs again — “You’ll Gain It All Back!”. What I’m doing differently is probably the continued abstemious eating, consistent gym sessions, consuming items from my Ketogenic Snack List. […]

  3. I wish you have more keto snacks on your list and some recipes will be appreciated too!

P.S. There’s a typo on the peanut butter section > “proceesor”
