It wasn’t quite the picnic I hoped for getting back into the Ketogenic Diet after consuming several Krispy Creme donuts and a cheesecake last weekend. Last Friday, Saturday and Sunday was hard especially while tackling an annoying problem at work. Friday was riddled with low energy, high impatience. Saturday I was foggy and moody. Sunday I just crashed in the middle of the day. A lot of things I got wrong were not enough fat, not enough sleep, and not enough food. And what I learned was a little bit of exercise on the Ketogenic Diet can go a long way for which your body kind of needs that exertion like a gas engine needs an igniter.
Despite the ups and downs I had some great food on Sunday heading to the beach in beautiful Santa Cruz and Davenport where I stopped by Cafe Brasil for a Keto friendly lunch. At the end I ordered myself an avocado smooth made out of fresh avocados, milk and ice which I have vowed to learn how to make.
Step 1: Get an avocado and scoop out the contents into a blender
Step 2: Pour as little or as much Fatty milk you want in there
Step 3: Add in some ice cubes and blend. Should be super simple
Step 4: Resist the urge to add sugar.
Note the breakdown of this drink below. One avocado packs a whopping 17 grams of carbs. That’s a big chunk if you’re staying below the recommended 50grams of carbohydrates daily. So maybe you can find someone to share with.
